The Best Connection is recruiting a Despatch Loader to join a busy and well organised manufacturing and warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement of products in and out of the warehouse, ensuring orders are prepared safely and efficiently for delivery.
Responsibilities- Loading company vehicles in preparation for daily despatch routes
- Unloading incoming deliveries from suppliers and allocating stock correctly
- Checking products for damage and reporting any issues to the relevant supervisor
- Sorting and positioning frames within the warehouse using designated storage locations
- Ensuring the despatch and loading areas remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Working closely with the despatch and warehouse teams to meet daily deadlines
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Holds a valid UK driving licence
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Previous warehouse or loading experience is beneficial but not essential
- Full training provided, including forklift training if desired
