We are currently recruiting for a reliable and self-motivated Van Driver to join a well-established company based in Sheffield.
The Role
This role involves multi-drop deliveries of cleaning and janitorial products to a range of customers, including commercial businesses, leisure centres, and public sector locations. Most deliveries are within a 50-mile radius of Sheffield, covering South Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out timely and professional multi-drop deliveries to various customer sites
- Complete all relevant delivery paperwork accurately at each drop
- Report any delivery issues, discrepancies, or customer concerns back to the office promptly
- Handle goods with care, including some heavier items (up to 20kg) requiring safe and delicate handling
- Maintain excellent communication with the office to ensure smooth daily operations
Additional Duties
Once all deliveries are completed and you have returned to site, there is the opportunity to undertake additional hours in the warehouse. This includes:
- Assisting with picking and preparing orders
- Organising stock for the following day's deliveries
- Supporting the wider team to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
