We are recruiting for Compound Drivers for our client based in Sheerness.
Immediate Starts Available
This role involves moving brand-new vehicles within a busy automotive compound. You will also be responsible for carrying out vehicle inspections, road testing vehicles on designated routes, de-wrapping vehicles, fueling/charging vehicles, and positioning vehicles for collection.
You will be driving both manual and automatic vehicles
Pay
£12.71 per hour
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 17:00
Duties
- Moving new vehicles around the compound
- Carrying out detailed vehicle inspections
- Recording any existing damage such as scratches or scuffs
- Road testing vehicles on approved routes
- De-wrapping and preparing vehicles
- Fuelling or charging vehicles
- Positioning vehicles in loading lanes
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Licence held for at least 3 years
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- No DD or DR endorsements
