COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT DRIVER - SCUNTHORPE
The Best Connection are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Scunthorpe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy industrial operation. If you hold a
valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and are looking for a varied, hands-on role with long-term opportunities, we'd love to hear from you!
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: £19.07 per hour after 40 hours worked
This role is based within a
very dusty and dirty industrial environment due to the nature of the product being handled. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and wearing any required PPE provided.
Duties Include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles and materials
- Transporting products and stock around site
- Supplying production areas with raw materials
- Assisting with stock movement and storage
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting defects
- Supporting bagging line and production operations when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Able to work at heights when required
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in a dusty and dirty industrial environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Full site training provided
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Overtime paid at £19.07 per hour after 40 hours
