Our client based in Medway City Estate, Rochester, is currently looking for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their busy goods-in/goods-out department.
Key Details:
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm (50 hours/week)
- 1-hour unpaid break per day
- Immediate start available
- Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment following a successful trial period
Main Duties:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (must hold a valid and accredited licence)
- Handling palletised goods β loading and unloading trailers and vehicles
- Racking and general warehouse organisation
- Manual handling β including heavy lifting
- Order picking and loading
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
- A valid, accredited Counterbalance licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling
