Parcel Sorters to join our well-established client based in the
Shrewsbury area.
Location: Shrewsbury (SY1 3AS)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 17:30 - 21:30
Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, Ongoing
The Role
This is a fast-paced warehouse position working within a busy parcel distribution environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for sorting parcels accurately and efficiently to ensure they are ready for onward delivery.
Duties Include:
- Sorting parcels into designated locations
- Loading and unloading parcels
- Scanning and processing items
- Working to deadlines in a busy warehouse environment
- Manual handling of parcels
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Ability to work well within a team
- Weekly pay
- Training provided
- 28 days paid annual leave (pro rata, inclusive of statutory holidays)
