We are currently recruiting for an experienced
FLT Counterbalance Driver / Recycling Operative to join a busy and growing operation based in
Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials around the site
- Assisting with recycling and waste management operations
- Sorting recyclable materials where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
- Previous FLT driving experience (essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
- Team player with a flexible approach to work
What's on Offer?
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm shifts and 4.00pm - 12.30 midnight looking for candidates for both shifts
Ongoing work with long-term prospects
Temporary to permanent opportunity
