The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced
Powder Coating Operative to join a busy manufacturing business.
We are ideally looking for someone with
5+ years of powder coating experience who has a good understanding of the process and can work confidently in a hands-on, physically demanding environment.
This is a very manual role, involving heavy work, so candidates must be hardworking and comfortable with a hands-on workload.
The Role:
- Carrying out powder coating duties within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Preparing surfaces and materials ready for powder coating.
- Applying powder coatings to a high standard.
- Ensuring finished products meet quality expectations.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally have
- 5+ years of previous powder coating experience.
- Be able to explain what types of powder coating they have worked with previously and the processes they are familiar with.
- Have a good understanding of powder coating techniques and equipment.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy, manual work.
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work.
- Be reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team.
Pay, Working Hours and Benefits:
Starting salary of £31,000 per annum for candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with less than 5 year's experience will be considered, with pay starting at the minimum rate.
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 5:30pm.
- One-hour unpaid lunch break.
- Weekly pay through The Best Connection
- Holiday pay through The Best Connection
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
- Additional Friday work may be available and will be paid at time and a half.
