We are currently recruiting for Key Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing business in the Pontypool area. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly successful production operation supplying products to some of the UK's most recognised retailers.
This is a key role within the production team, ideal for someone with experience in food manufacturing who is confident overseeing production processes, completing production documentation and ensuring lines run efficiently throughout the shift. You'll be trusted to take ownership of your area, maintain quality standards and help deliver production targets in a fast-paced environment.
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- 05:00 to 17:00 or 07:00 to 19:00
- £14.05 per hour
- Temp to perm opportunity
Duties Include
- Operating and overseeing food production lines
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Completing production paperwork and batch records accurately
- Carrying out product quality and process checks
- Monitoring machinery performance and escalating issues where required
- Supporting line setups and product changeovers
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Assisting with training and supporting colleagues across the production department
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work area
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within food production, manufacturing or a similar environment
- Experience completing production documentation and recording information accurately
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, motivated and able to take responsibility for your work area
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
