We are currently recruiting experienced
Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) Operatives to join a busy food production site in Longbenton. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking warehouse and PPT drivers looking for an immediate start and ongoing work.
With both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available, this role could be ideal for candidates looking for consistent work in a fast-paced production environment.
The Role - PPT Operative / Warehouse Driver
Your duties will include:
- Operating a pedestrian-powered pallet truck (PPT) safely and efficiently.
- Moving pallets, stock and materials around the production and warehouse areas.
- Supporting the smooth running of daily food production operations.
- Loading, unloading and transporting goods where required.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and site hygiene.
- Working as part of a team to meet production and operational targets.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A full, valid PPT licence or recognised operator training certificate.
Previous hands-on experience operating a pedestrian pallet truck.
- The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to follow health and safety procedures and site instructions.
- Availability for an immediate start.
Previous warehouse, distribution or food production experience would be advantageous.
