The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join a busy and reputable client based in Usk. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV driver seeking ongoing, full-time work with the potential to move into a permanent role after a successful temporary period. You will play a key part in the transport operation, ensuring deliveries and collections are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties:
- Driving a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle
- Completing deliveries and collections as required
- Loading and unloading when necessary
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within set timeframes
- Following all driving laws and working time regulations
- Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and sites
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
