Our client, a market-leading sauce manufacturer based in Middleton, is looking to recruit a Food Production Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role:
- Labelling the jars of sauce
- Quality checking each jar
- Correctly loading the machines
- Screwing lids onto the jars
- Stacking the sealed jars onto pallets
- Some basic paperwork
- Operating machinery
- Weighing and measuring ingredients from a recipe sheet
Requirements:
- Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
- Hands-on, practical skills
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
- Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
