Location: Middleton

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Overtime available at enhanced rates)

Our client, a market-leading sauce manufacturer based in Middleton, is looking to recruit a Food Production Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The Role:

  • Labelling the jars of sauce
  • Quality checking each jar
  • Correctly loading the machines
  • Screwing lids onto the jars
  • Stacking the sealed jars onto pallets
  • Some basic paperwork
  • Operating machinery
  • Weighing and measuring ingredients from a recipe sheet

Requirements:

  • Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
  • Hands-on, practical skills
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
  • Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
