£14.12 per hour | Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm | Poynton
We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join our client in the Poynton area. This is a hands‑on role involving the safe handling, movement, loading and storage of materials.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating overhead cranes and handling heavy steel products. You will play an important role in ensuring materials are moved safely, stock is stored correctly and daily warehouse operations run smoothly.
Your role
- Loading, unloading, moving and positioning products around the warehouse
- Carrying out pre‑use safety checks on equipment and reporting any issues
- Assisting with stock checks and ensuring materials are correctly stored
- Working as part of a team to meet daily warehouse/production targets
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards to keep area tidy and hazard free
- Following all health and safety procedures

- Previous crane operating experience
- A good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
- Reliable, punctual and hard working
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
