Job Duties
- Operate wheeled loading shovel safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
- Load, move, and handle materials around the site as directed
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on the loading shovel
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
- Assist with manual handling tasks when required
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Report any equipment faults or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Work collaboratively with other site operatives to ensure smooth operations
Candidate Requirements
- NPORS, RTITB, or CPCS certification for wheeled loading shovel operation
- Proven experience operating a wheeled loading shovel
- Willingness to work in a dirty and odorous environment
- Ability to perform some manual tasks alongside machine operation
Pay Rate
- £20 per hour (standard)
- £30 per hour (overtime)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
