The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a Temporary basis.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking loading bay operative to join our client in Robertsbridge. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized loading bay area
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams
- Report any damaged or missing goods to supervisors
- Operate the curtains on lorries going in and out
(Please be aware your role may not be limited to these tasks)
Requirements
For this position you will need:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience is not required.
- Access to a device to complete an online application.
Working pattern
Weekly Rolling Rotating Rota:
- Monday – Friday : 06:00 – 18:00
- Monday – Friday: 18:00 – 06:00
Pay
- Day pay rate: £13.77
- Night pay rate: £14.28
