The Best Connection are currently recruiting for hardworking, reliable and motivated
Line Pickers to join our well established client based in Croydon starting in the New Year.
No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Hours:
- 7am start
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
This is a 12 week temp-perm opportunity.
Pay:
- £12.71 per hour rising to £13.21 per hour in April
Key Responsibilities of the Line Picker:
- Work along a moving conveyor belt.
- Identify and remove recyclable materials from mixed construction waste.
- Separate different types of recyclable materials.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a good standard of work throughout your shift.
Requirements of the Line Picker:
- Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
- Hardworking and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable carrying out physical, hands-on work.
- Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
- Previous recycling or waste management experience is beneficial but not essential.
