Warehouse Order Pickers - Afternoon Shift

Order Pickers based in

Buckshaw Village.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking and physically fit individuals to join a busy warehouse operation.

Working Hours

• 13:00 - 21:00
• Any 7 afternoons out of 7 days (including weekends).
• Temporary ongoing position.

Pay Rates

13:00 - 18:00: £12.90 per hour

18:00 - 21:00: £15.64 per hour

The Role

Working within a chilled/freezer warehouse environment, your responsibilities will include:

• Using a headset-operated voice picking system to receive instructions.
• Using a handheld scanner to accurately pick customer orders.
• Locating products and ensuring orders are picked correctly.
• Working towards individual picking targets and maintaining a good pick rate.
• Ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the picking process.
• Remaining on your feet throughout the shift.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Previous experience working in a cold environment is desired
• Experience using handheld scanners and headset picking systems is advantageous.
• Physically fit, with the ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Comfortable working in a chilled/freezer environment.
• Able to work at pace and achieve individual pick rate targets.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Flexible to work any 7 days out of 7, including weekends.
