An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Launceston as a Warehouse Operative for a 1-week temporary assignment within their busy furniture warehouse. The role involves a variety of warehouse tasks including the safe movement and handling of furniture items, accurate picking and packing, and supporting the overall flow of goods through the warehouse.
Duties include organising stock, preparing orders for dispatch, and ensuring all items are handled with care to maintain quality and safety standards. You will be working in a friendly warehouse environment with free parking available on-site.
The successful candidate must be physically strong, comfortable working with larger items, and have a good level of numeracy and literacy to complete picking sheets and follow written instructions accurately. Although this is a short-term temporary position, there may be further opportunities for ongoing work depending on business needs.
Pay and Schedule
- Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 08:00 to 16:00
