We are recruiting for a fencing company specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-quality metal fencing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Due to increased demand, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Powder Coater to join the production team.
The Role
As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating metal fencing components to a high standard, ensuring durability, consistency, and a professional finish across all products.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing metal fencing products for coating (cleaning, masking, pre-treatment)
- Applying powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment
- Curing coated items in ovens to specified temperatures and times
- Inspecting finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
- Assisting with general workshop duties when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in powder coating or a similar finishing role
- Knowledge of metal preparation and coating processes
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
Desirable (but not essential)
