Role Purpose
As an HGV HIAB Driver / Lorry Loader, you\'ll be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, and collection of modular buildings and containers to and from customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all relevant safety and road regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles
- Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites
- Operate the HIAB crane for loading and unloading operations
- Ensure full compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Accurately complete delivery and collection paperwork
- Report vehicle defects promptly
- Provide outstanding customer service, representing the company professionally
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
What We\'re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver Licence with a minimum of 1 year\'s experience
- Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) - essential
- ALLMI Lorry Loader D1+E unlimited preferred (training/upgrades available for the right candidate)
- Experience as a slinger and signaller
- No more than 3 points on your driving licence
- Strong understanding of EU driver hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
