HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER NIGHT SHIFT

Overview

The Best Connection are working with our Middlesbrough based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) NIGHT SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.

There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available

The role

• Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
• There is a minimum of \”Hand-balling\” involved
• The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Achieving delivery slots
• Using website-based delivery scheduling
• Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

The candidate

• C+E (Class One) Licence
• In date CPC and DIGICard
• Experience using \”skelly\” trailers
• Experience in driving \”Mirror Cam\” Trucks

Rewards

• £16.60 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
