HGV Class 1 Driver — Full & Part Time / Semi-Retired - Bradford BD5
The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for a friendly, well-known retail client based in Bradford (BD5). Whether you\'re looking for full-time work, part-time shifts, or semi-retired driving opportunities, we have flexible roles to suit you!
Role overview
- Deliver 1-6 stores per shift during the day
- Afternoon/evening trunk routes
- Handling product on cages or totes - driver\\\'s only responsibility is moving cages/totes to the back of the trailer; store staff unload the rest
- Must be confident in reversing and manoeuvring
Shift patterns
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
- Friday to Monday (guaranteed 11 hours per shift and 5th shift all paid at overtime)
- Saturday & Sunday
- All breaks are PAID
- Part-time drivers for ad hoc shifts welcome (1 or 2 days per week)
Pay rates
- Day Shifts (Mon-Sun): £18.57/hr, £27.85/hr after 8 hours and 6th shift
- Night Shifts (Mon-Sun): £20.01/hr, £30.01/hr after 8 hours
- Bank Holiday Day: £37.14/hr
- Bank Holiday Night: £40.02/hr
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
- In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 licence points (no major endorsements)
- Able to pass a driving assessment including reversing and manoeuvring
