The Best Connection are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work within a manufacturing facility based in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
Responsibilities
- Helping to assemble metal boxes for components
- Using hand and power tools to match products to client specifications
- Working with diagrams, drawings and instructions
- Quality controlling products, to make sure completed items are as they should be
- Assisting with making sure the manufacturing facility is both safe and tidy
- Accurately measuring and cutting materials where required
- Reporting any faults, defects, or issues to supervisors
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Handling materials and components with care to avoid damage
- Assisting with packing and preparing finished products for dispatch
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a production environment, as well as use of hand tools is essential for this position.
Compensation and Hours
- Pay rate for this is £13.00 per hour, with overtime available which is paid at £19.50.
- Hours are Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1615, Friday 0730 - 1215.
