Are you an experienced Class 1 Day Driver looking for regular work, great earning potential, and a team that values you? The Best Connection are proud to be working with one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics companies, and we're now looking for professional drivers to join their expanding team.
This is an ongoing role with immediate starts available following successful completion of an assessment, with an opportunity to go permanent after just 12 weeks for the right driver.
The Role
- Class 1 day work with curtain-sided trailers delivering palletised drywall plasterboard to depots and construction sites.
- Start time of either 11:00am or 12:00pm each day.
- Around 45hrs work per week.
- Driver to keep the same truck unless needed for maintenance.
- Monday to Friday - no weekends.
- Friendly and supportive transport office.
- Work that keeps you busy, not stressed.
Pay & Hours
- £16.25 per hour.
- Monday to Friday schedule - enjoy your weekends off.
Requirements
- Full UK Category CE licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN).
- Good knowledge of the UK road network.
- Must pass a paid driving assessment before starting.
