The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a General Operative for our well established client based in Chiddingfold.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Pay: £13.00 per hour rising to £13.79 per hour after 12 weeks
Responsibilities of the General Operative:
- You will be using the De Can cutting machine to open catalytic converters so they can be processed.
- Your task will be to remove or recover the valuable metals (like platinum, palladium, and rhodium) that are found inside catalytic converters.
- You will help out in the warehouse packing car parts for deliveries.
Requirements for the General Operative:
- This is a metal-cutting operation, so it involves safety risks like sharp edges, metal dust, and heavy machinery; therefore, must be comfortable with wearing safety gear (gloves, eye protection, mask).
- Must be happy with getting your hands dirty as you will be dealing with dust, grime, grease.
- Comfortable being in an industrial or workshop environment.
- No experience needed; all training will be provided.
