4 DAY WEEK - IMMEDIATE START. A fantastic opportunity for a Production Operative to work with our client in Donington. Ongoing long-term role that will lead to a permanent position following the completion of a trial period. Working Monday to Thursday 6.30 am - 6 pm Days or 6.45 pm - 6.45 am Nights (42 hours per week). Online application process so you can register from home.
Our client expects:
- Experience of lathes, beam saws, mills, moulders and/or spindle moulders.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience following a production schedule.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Previous moulder operations and the ability to read CAD drawings would be an advantage.
The role will involve:
- Experience working with Moulders, Saws (various woodworking saws), Paint lines / finishing lines, CNC machining and DET.
- Manually setting and feeding machines to standard operating procedures in a fast-paced timber manufacturing environment.
- Following a production schedule to achieve the time scales set and quality standards expected.
- Maintain a safe, neat and tidy working area in line with 5S Housekeeping standards.
Once Permanent, our client offers 5.6 weeks holiday. The equivalent of 3 extra loyalty days can be accrued which is linked to service. Quarterly Profit Share Bonus (average bonus over the last 3 years has been an additional 13% of salary/annual earnings). Total customer satisfaction bonus to a maximum amount of £750 per year - assuming no quality mistakes occur.
