The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and well-established operation based in Dukinfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to secure a long-term position with consistent hours and regular overtime available.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Overtime paid at £21.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods within a fast-paced loading bay environment
- Support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations
- Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched correctly
- Carry out VDU (Visual Display Unit) tasks as required
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or loading bay environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
Desirable:
- Previous experience using VDU systems (not essential)
