The Best Connection is recruiting a skilled and reliable Administrator to join a well-established meat production facility in East Grinstead. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to support daily operations in a busy production environment.
Industry: Food Production
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, 1 hour lunch break
Pay: £12.71 per hour, however there is flexibility depending on experience
Key Responsibilities of the Administrator:
- Process customer orders and enter them accurately into the system
- Act as first point of contact for customer queries and complaints
- Coordinate with drivers regarding deliveries, returns, and rejected goods
- Ensure delivery paperwork and invoices are prepared and ready on time
- Handle incoming calls efficiently and professionally
- Resolve delivery issues and escalate to management where required
- Maintain accurate records, including filing, photocopying, and production documents
- Update online portals daily
- Support accounts with payment follow-ups when required
- Provide order and customer information to management as requested
- Assist managers with general administrative tasks, including typing, laminating, and filing
- Report customer issues or concerns promptly to the relevant manager
- Carry out additional administrative duties as required by management
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel, and email
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
