The Best Connection Enfield are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate on behalf of our long-term client, based in Stansted (CM22). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team delivering high-quality kitchen products to customers across the region.
Shift & Pay Details:
- Monday to Friday
- 04:00am or 06:00am start
- 12:00pm or 2:00pm finish
- £13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with the safe and timely delivery of kitchen units, appliances, and worktops to customer's homes
- Safely loading and unloading heavy kitchen components from vehicles
- Carrying products into customer's properties with care and professionalism
- Ensuring all items are handled correctly to prevent damage
- Using safe manual handling techniques at all times
- Conducting delivery checks and confirming paperwork is completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Supporting with picking and packing kitchen supplies in the warehouse when required
- Logging orders onto a computer system and printing packing sheets
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Driver's Mate or similar delivery role
- Proven experience in safe manual handling of heavy and bulky goods (essential)
- Strong teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and professional manner
- Basic IT skills for logging orders
Full training will be provided.
