The Best Connection are currently looking for several reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives on night shift to join our busy client in Dartford.
You will play an important role in ensuring that all customer orders are accurately prepared, packed, and dispatched on time. This position requires attention to detail, good teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Hours and Pay
Sunday to Thursday
Pay rate is £14.05 per hour, weekly pay every Friday
Overtime paid at £17.56 per hour over 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to company standards.
- Ensure all goods are labelled correctly and ready for shipment.
- Check accuracy of orders before dispatching.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area.
- Use warehouse systems or scanners
- Follow all health & safety procedures.
- Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Skills & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move items safely.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
