Overview
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for School Cleaners for our client based in Horsham.
Location: Horsham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
3 week booking - 30th March to 17th April
Pay: £12.21 per hour rising to £12.71 per hour from April 1st.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Removing mould from walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Using cleaning chemicals including bleach and other strong cleaning agents
- Following safe cleaning procedures when handling hazardous substances
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
- Disposing of cleaning waste safely
Due to the use of harsh cleaning products, PPE is required at all times when carrying out mould removal and chemical cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Understanding of basic health and safety practices
