Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ashbourne. This is a hands-on role within a production and warehouse environment, supporting the preparation, handling and dispatch of specialist components used within industry. This position offers excellent long-term opportunities, with full training provided and scope to progress into skilled roles within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing components into storage containers ready for dispatch
  • Labelling products accurately to meet customer and distribution requirements
  • Assisting with the movement of materials within the warehouse and production areas
  • Supporting general warehouse and production activities as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Training & Progression

As you become established in the role, you will receive further training including:

  • Operating production machinery
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) training
  • Development into more technical and skilled positions within the site

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable
  • Comfortable with manual handling and working in a physical environment
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
