A well‑known machining company in Redditch is looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC sliding head machines, with a key requirement for twin‑turret, twin‑spindle experience. Programming experience is ideal but not essential; strong sliding‑head setting/operating experience is required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Setting and running CNC sliding head machines
- Working with twin‑turret and twin‑spindle machines (must have experience)
- Making high‑quality parts
- Checking and adjusting tools and machine settings during your shift
- Using measuring tools to check your work
- Reading drawings and following instructions
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of Work: Afternoon shift or day shifts with early Friday finish. Monday to Friday afternoons (2‑10 pm) or Monday to Friday days (6 am‑2 pm or 8 am‑4 pm, Friday 12:30 pm finish).
Pay: £16.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.
