We are currently recruiting for one of our long standing clients for Cleaning Operatives based just outside of Bedford.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team and maintain high standards of housekeeping at the Thurleigh site of this well known motor vehicle auction company.
Candidates must be reliable and have good customer service and communication skills, as the role will be public facing.
This is a large site so applicants must be OK with being on their feet throughout the whole shift with some manual handling or heavy lifting possible up to 20 kg.
Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative:
- General cleaning duties including hoovering, mopping, sanitising, litter picking and spot cleaning
- Clean all public and back of house areas including bathrooms, canteen areas, showrooms and office
- Work collaboratively with the site team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness reporting any hazards or health and safety concerns to sit management
- Be reliable and trustworthy with a can-do attitude and good attention to detail
- Be able to work on own initiative and un-supervised if necessary and take responsibility for maintaining good standards of hygiene.
Requirements of the Cleaning operative:
- Must have own transport to get to the location reliably or live locally in Thurleigh
- Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of health and safety on site is preferable
- Be able to commit to shift patterns, be reliable and trustworthy.
