HGV DRIVERS - DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS - NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME
CLASS 1 · CLASS 2 · 7.5T DRIVERS MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED
The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (C E), Class 2 (C), and 7.5 Tonne (C1) drivers for general haulage work across the UK. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
We offer day and night shifts, part-time flexibility, and opportunities across curtain siders, refrigerated trailers, and containers.
Pay Rates
- Class 1 (C E) Days: £15.00 per hour
- Nights: £17.50 per hour
- Class 2 (C) Days: £13.50 per hour
- 7.5 Tonne (C1) Days: £13.50 per hour
Shift Information
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- No nights out required
- Part-time hours available - perfect if you have other commitments
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1, Class 2, or 7.5T vehicles as required
- Operate curtain side, fridge, and container trailers
- Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections
- Ensure all goods are loaded and secured safely
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Follow driving laws, tachograph rules & WTD regulations
Requirements
- Valid licence for your category: C E / C / C1
- New passes welcome
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card - mandatory for all classes including 7.5T
