The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team specialising in the production of beer pump fonts. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with assembly or production experience who enjoys working with tools and has a strong eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products to customer specifications while maintaining high quality standards and working efficiently to production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble beer pump fonts to customer specifications using hand tools and power tools
  • Fit components including tap handles, LED lighting, branding badges, and cooling elements
  • Carry out accurate wiring and connectivity for illuminated fonts
  • Follow technical diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure functionality and finish
  • Report faults, defects, or issues to team leaders or supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
  • Package finished products securely ready for shipping
