The Best Connection are working with our client based in Southeast London to recruit a CAT B van driver to join their restaurant distribution team on a temp to perm basis.
We are seeking an experienced Cat B van driver to serve as an ambassador of this company while delivering to their high-end restaurant clients.
Responsibilities of the CAT B Van driver
- Picking prepackaged and weighed meat products and loading your van prior to the start of your working day
- Delivering to restaurants throughout London and the home counties
- Basic quality checking of meat products as you pick them (checking the pick list matches the label)
- Serving as the face of the company as you deliver their product to high end establishments
Requirements of the CAT B van driver
- Ability to demonstrate a customer focused manner while serving as the face of the company while out on delivery
- Ability and willingness to pack, handle and deliver both meat and alcohol products
- Flexible to work start times that can be as early as 04:45
Hours of work
- Will typically be 04:45 until 12:30 with a minimum of 8 hours paid each day on a Monday to Friday basis
Rates of pay
- Will be £14.80 per hour
