The Best Connection are seeking to recruit Cat B (Van) Drivers to work with their client based in Walker.
Our client operates a vehicle hire business and requires drivers to collect and return hire vehicles as part of their day-to-day operations.
The Role:
- Collecting hire vehicles from customer locations and returning them to the depot
- May involve moving vehicles between branches or for servicing and cleaning
- No heavy lifting or manual handling involved
- Ad hoc shifts providing cover for sickness and holidays
- Ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time or occasional work
- All local driving – no long-distance routes
The Candidate:
- Full UK Cat B driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- Aged 30 or over for insurance purposes
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
- Must be confident driving a range of vehicles, including cars and small vans
- Good timekeeping and reliability essential
- Smart appearance and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday operation
- Shifts offered on an ad hoc basis to cover holiday and sickness
- Flexible working – shifts can be arranged to suit your availability
Pay Rates:
- £12.50 per hour (PAYE flat rate)
