About the Role
The Best Connection is currently recruiting Bus Shelter Cleaners to join a well-established and reputable client based in Rowley Regis.
This is a hands‑on, outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and taking pride in keeping public spaces clean, safe, and presentable.
You will be provided with a company van and follow a planned daily route, cleaning and maintaining bus shelters across the region (travel may occasionally include areas as far as Coventry).
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a company van between multiple bus shelter locations
- Jet washing bus shelters to a high standard
- Sweeping shelters and removing all litter
- Removing weeds and maintaining surrounding areas
- Identifying, reporting, and making safe any damage (e.g. taping broken glass)
- Taking and uploading photos of completed work using a work device
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
What We\'re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Good attention to detail and pride in high‑quality work
- Confident working alone for most of the day
- Able to follow routes, instructions, and safety procedures
- Basic IT skills (photo uploads and job record updates)
- Good communication skills and spoken English
- Responsible and trustworthy when driving a company vehicle
