Our client- a well established local production company are looking for a forklift driver with counterbalance. This role has an immediate start for the right candidate. Based in Buckfastleigh.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced
Temporary Forklift to join our busy drinks production facility in the heart of Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the efficient movement and storage of raw materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate both counterbalance forklift trucks.
- Aisle master experience preferred but NOT essential.
- Load, unload, move and store products within the warehouse and production areas.
- Supply production lines with materials as required.
- Accurately pick, stage and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Carry out stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
A valid forklift licence is essential.
- Previous experience operating both forklift trucks.
- Experience working within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 08:00am- 16:30pm
