Location: Morley, Leeds (LS27)

Pay rate: £15.45 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00 and Friday 07:30-15:00 (39 hours per week)

The Best Connection are looking for an experienced Bench / Joiner / Cabinet Maker for a temp‑to‑perm role with our client in Morley. The successful candidate will be working from drawings and manufacturing bespoke furniture and will be required to maintain a high quality of workmanship ensuring smooth delivery of the projects on time.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Read drawings, make cutting lists and meet benchmarks for each project.
  • Experience working with most machinery found within the joinery workshop.
  • Experienced in high quality bench‑joinery manufacturing.
  • Hold Joinery qualifications (Level 3).
  • 2‑3 years of experience in a joinery or cabinetry workshop.
  • Experience with bespoke furniture making.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Utilise hand and power tools to perform joinery and carpentry tasks with precision.
  • Assemble and fabricate components as per project specifications.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate progress and address any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
