Parcel Sorter Nights Required! The Best Connection are currently recruiting flexible Parcel Sorter Nights to work for one of our clients based at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supply chain management, with full Aviation Training provided.

Pay: £15.79 - £22.32ph Mon to Thur after 1900 £15.79, Friday after midnight £16.97. Regular available Overtime after 40 hours, pre or post shift!

Shifts from: Monday to Friday 21:00 to 05:30

Location: East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington Accessible via the Skylink Bus Route. Free Parking Provided! Top Class Subsidised Canteen!

Requirements of a Weekend Parcel Sorter Nights / Warehouse operative:

  • Be willing to apply for a DBS Check (Paid for by us!)
  • Have a 5 year checkable work history (Obtained for you by us!)
  • Be willing to attend an Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by us!)
  • Flexibility is a must
  • Weekend work and bank holiday availability

Role of a Weekend Parcel Sorter Nights / Warehouse operative:

  • Labelling Parcels
  • Scanning Parcels
  • Uploading information on to a Computer
  • Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 25kg in certain areas)
  • Quality Inspecting Cargo

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:

  • Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
  • Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
