Salary: GBP15.74 per hour

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and well-established client. We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing team in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity offering competitive pay, a generous shift allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Morning Shift:

  • Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00
  • Friday: 06:00 - 13:00

Afternoon Shift:

  • Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Friday: 13:00 - 20:00

£15.74 per hour (depending on experience, also includes 22% shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding the company's range using Mig welders
  • Set up welding and supporting equipment
  • Be able to read 2D drawings
  • Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
  • Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
  • Keep production and quality related records up to date
  • Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
  • Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
