Salary: GBP14.5 - GBP15.5 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.00 – 16.15, Friday 07.00 - 12.15

Our client, based in Oldham, is looking to recruit a Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The Role:

  • Welding and fabrication of steel
  • Cutting of metal to required size
  • Using hand and power tools (full training provided)
  • Manual handling – good physical fitness is essential

Requirements:

  • Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
  • Welding experience is essential
  • Hands-on, practical skills
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
  • Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
