Class 2 Hiab Driver – Washington, England

Salary: GBP15.76 - GBP31.52 per hour

Location: Washington

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known and established building supplies company based in Washington. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Class 2 HIAB driver to support increased demand. This is an ongoing assignment offering consistent work and competitive pay.

Role

  • Multidrop delivery of building materials
  • Local North East routes
  • Vehicle pre-loaded
  • Support provided by a driver’s mate
  • Use of HIAB crane for deliveries

Hours of Work

7:00am starts until finish

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • £15.76 per hour – Monday to Friday (first 8 hours)
  • £23.64 per hour – Monday to Friday (after 8 hours)
  • £23.64 per hour – Saturday (all hours)
  • £31.52 per hour – Sunday (all hours)
  • £31.52 per hour – Bank Holidays (all hours)

Requirements for a Class 2 Hiab Driver

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • HIAB/ALMI C5+E / AITT / RTITB certification
  • Brick grab experience essential
  • Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of tachograph regulations
