Care Connection is recruiting experienced Support Workers to support our clients in and around Trowbridge. As an Agency Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. You will be able to work across a variety of care settings in the Wiltshire area, supporting each service user in a person‑centred way and following individual support plans to enable the best possible care and help each individual lead a fulfilling life.
This is a temporary, ad hoc role and you will support our clients with staffing gaps due to sickness and holidays. You will follow support plans to ensure person‑centred support and encourage independence and choice in all aspects of daily life. Shifts vary between 07:00 and 22:00, and a sleep‑in shift is also available at this service.
Job Role: A Support Worker is required to deliver support within an adult’s health or social care environment, supporting with daily living tasks or development of new skills. Tasks may be one‑to‑one with an adult or conducted alongside other support workers or health professionals. They may be carried out within the home and garden or outside in the community. Equipment may be required for moving, handling, or health tasks. A local support plan must be followed for task completion, safety, client communication, and any end‑of‑life instructions where relevant.
Weekly pay from £13.00‑£14.00 per hour, shift dependent. Holiday accrued as you work.
