The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy engineering and manufacturing industry client based in Kingsbury, Tamworth. This TIG Welder role offers an immediate start and consistent daytime hours within a well-established manufacturing industry environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled TIG Welder looking to work in Tamworth within the manufacturing industry, producing high-quality metal components.
Location: Kingsbury, Tamworth
Pay: £15.50 per hour
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
- Preparing and working from cutting lists
- Finishing materials ready for welding
- Marking up materials accurately
- Setting up and operating welding equipment
- Inspecting welds for cracks, defects, and surface quality
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and able to work independently or within a team
