Class 1 Drivers Required - Immediate starts, ongoing work. The Best Connection Group are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our busy DHL site based in Stoke. This is a long term, ongoing role, with immediate starts available!

About the role:

  • You will be completing store deliveries with occasional collections.
  • Deliveries will involve unloading palletised stock using an electric pump truck, via a tail lift. Store colleagues will take the delivery from the tail lift to the store.
  • Some vehicles are double decked trailers although previous experience in driving these vehicles is not essential.
  • You will be required to work Monday to Friday and start times are available between 01:00-08:00.
  • The work is long term ongoing and will start immediately.
  • An assessment is required prior to starting made up of a driving test, theory test and drugs and alcohol test.

The hourly rate of pay is:

  • Hours worked between 22.00-06.00 - £21.24
  • Hours worked between 06.00-16.00 - £17.70
  • Hours worked between 16.00-22.00 - £19.47
  • Working a sixth shift/Bank Holiday - £26.55

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence (1 year experience)
  • Experience with double decker trailers preferred
  • Confident in using palletised pump trucks
  • Good level of physical fitness
