Our client based in Stevenage are looking for Quality Control Operatives to join its growing team. Responsible for ensuring that products and customer standards are maintained across the site, successful candidates will be provided with full training from an experienced management team giving them the confidence to deliver impact across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and professional reports using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Inspect inbound products to ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Conduct daily quality inspections during storage, processing, packaging, and dispatch operations
  • Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and production departments to resolve quality issues efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, HACCP, and GAP standards
  • Notify management team & suppliers of quality issues and required corrective actions

Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, and quality management systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment

Working Hours

  • Choice of either 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00
  • Choice of either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday working pattern

Pay Rate

£14.24 per hour for all hours worked
