The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced Forklift Driver to work in our client's busy logistics warehouse, based in Eastleigh, Southampton.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Working within a warehouse
- Operating Flexi and VNA Forklift trucks to move pallets of stock, pick and navigate narrow aisles
- Moving pallets with a PPT
- Loading and unloading containers and trailers
- Picking and packing
- Building and wrapping pallets
- Assisting with all general warehouse duties
Job requirements:
- Flexi or VNA licence
- PPT licence or experience
- Good numeracy, literary and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00. Pay rate is £13.96 per hour.
